Women’s US Open 2016 Predictions

US Open QF Predictions for Wednesday

S.Williams d. Halep in 2 tight sets – Preview HERE

US Open QF Predictions for Tuesday

Wozniacki d. Sevastova in 2 sets – Preview HERE

Kerber d. Vinci in 2 sets – Vinci has done extremely well to make the quarters but i’m not sure whether she has anything in the tank left for this match. The H2H is tied at 2-2 but Kerber is vastly improved since their last meeting in 2013. Going for Angie…

US Open R4 Predictions for Monday

S.Williams d. Shvedova in 2 sets – Shvedova has been in brilliant form this week and has the game to challenge Serena. I loved their match at Wimbledon a couple of years ago which Serena won, 7-5 in the decider. Going for Serena in a tight two setter but she’ll need to step it up in this match.

Halep d. Suárez Navarro in 3 sets – Preview HERE

Pliskova d. V.Williams in 3 sets – ON. THE. FENCE… Going to and fro on this one and fancy it to be a super match. Their last encounter in Zhuhai was brilliant. Getting into the second week was a huge deal for Pliskova and might allow to her play with more freedom. Venus has improved significantly from the first two rounds. Minor edge to Pliskova but really struggling to make a call on this one.

Radwanska d. Konjuh in 2 sets – Loving the improvement in Konjuh’s game and intrigued to see how she deals with the night session. Instinct going for Aga in straights (1 tight, 1 easy) but will honestly be fascinated to see the result of this one. Won’t be surprised at an Ana win with Aga trying to get to a US Open quarter-final for the first time.

US Open R4 Predictions for Sunday

Wozniacki d. Keys in 3 sets – Preview HERE

Konta d. Sevastova in 2 sets – Konta was sensational against Bencic and has been one of the most consistent players on tour in 2016.

Vinci d. Tsurenko in 2 sets – I sensed there was something not quite right for Vinci in her post-match interview after beating Witthoeft but she still played well and is enjoying her best tournament since St. Petersburg in February. Tsurenko has been heavily strapped up this week but continues to plough on in her best tournament of the year. Vinci won their only previous match in Doha, 6-2 6-1 earlier this year.

Kerber d. Kvitova in 3 sets – Preview HERE
