I hope you had a great weekend and got to do something fun!! Weekends for me are filled with a mix of work, family, and exercise… By the time Sunday rolls around my body needs a tune up after the long and physical weekend. 

My body is usually a bit sore and tired and needs some time to unwind. I always make sure to stretch my hamstrings because those muscles tighten up easily with sitting, playing with my kids, and working out. 

The hamstrings are those big muscles behind the quads. These are large muscles and need to be stretched at least a few times per week to prevent stiff and achy muscles. 7 out of 10 clients who work with me have tight hamstrings from any of the following:

– overdeveloped quad muscles

– too much sitting

– poor posture

– lack of exercise
