The Krane Training Method™ – Strengthening the rotator cuff

It felt like yesterday that I was a competitive tennis player… I remember the long practice sessions, the hot weather, and how my parents drove me everywhere…. Thanks Mom/Dad 🙂

Those were the good old days…. Not a worry in the sky except what tournament I was going to play next and finding new practice partners. Those were the things I stressed about. Can you believe it?

What I should have been paying attention to was my body. I remember in 11th grade I had a bad shoulder injury that prevented me playing from most of the season. Even though I couldn’t play I still showed up to practice to help my teammates stay motivated and fit. While I was away from the game I kept myself in good cardio shape, but didn’t properly rehab my shoulder injury.

Little did I know how important it was to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles to keep my shoulder happy!!! So I started strengthening my rotator cuff and before you knew it I was back on the courts playing the game that I loved.

I am so glad that I decided to start strengthening my shoulder because without it who knows how long it would have kept me away from the game that I loved playing.
